26th of February!
It was the 25th and 26th of February 2005! The nights i went to see westlife
doing the No.1's tour in Manchester! I met a fan when i met Nicky and she told me which hotel they stayed at! The night before
i was texting her and she told me that they had changed hotel.She told me which hotel they were staying at and where abouts
in Manchester it was.I had been begging my mum for months to take me to the hotel and she said yes!
We got to the hotel about 2:00 pm and we went round to the front of the hotel
where there was a group of people and one girl said to me
"are you here for westlife" so i said "yeah are you!" she said no Manchester United are coming out
westlife went down the street about 5 minutes ago! Manchester United came out and the group of girls went!There was only me
and a couple of girls left!We were stood outside for abot 2 hours and we were talkin to some other fans!Nicky walked past
us with Georgina we looked round and we all said "That's Nicky" but he had gone inside!
My mum wanted to go for something to eat so we went to a nearby chippy!When
i had just sat down i got a text saying did you just see Shane walking in!I started crying so y mum said do you want to go
back to the hotel so i were like yeah!
Within about 10 minutes of arriving back at the hotel the big blue tour bus came along!I
stood right next to the tour bus door so then i was definately gonna get to them!They left us standing there for about an
hour in the freezing cold!Then Shane came out with Gillian following close behind him!(Gillian doesnt look very pregnant at
the mo)Shane was on his mobile and he stopped half way to the tour bus!Gillian walked round him into the tour bus! Shane said
ive gotta go now down the phone and as he put the phone down i screamed Shane! he said hold on a minute girls. he signed a
load of autographs and i held out a tiger teddy that i had bought for him.As he finished signing autographs he walked to the
tour bus looked at me then grabbed the teddy and went into the tour bus. The door was closed behind him and the bus drove
off.The others must have already gone!
27th of February!
We picked up my friend who was going to the concert with me. We got to the
hotel about 2:00pm again.We went to the front of the hotel and my friend come down to see me! Kian and Jodi came out but they'd
walked off before i got to them! it was about 4:00 when the tour bus came! They didn't come out till 5:00! My friend told
me that Shane had got drunk the night before!Shane came out 1st with shades on so he must have been hungover(awwh sweet) He
didnt sign any autographs hejust went straight into the tour bus!
Nicky came out next with Georgina but he went out a completely different
door and walked round the back of the tour bus!I think he was worried that Georgina would get hurt! Kian came out next and
he was stopping at everyone to sign autographs! he came to me and i held out a tweety-pie teddy out for him.He grabbed it
and said "thank you very much" My friend got his autograph!He then went into the tour bus!
About 2 seconds later mark came out and this big security guard was
stood right in front of me! i put my arm round him so i could give mark his teddy (a dog) i screamed mark and he looked round
at me and said "awwh is that for me" and i were like yeah and he said "Awwh thank you very much" My friend got his autograph
and he went into the tour bus and it drove off!
At the concert that night it was the last song flying without wings
(and for those of you that didnt go they came up on these like stage things) And i saw shane looking over our way i think
he was reading my banner which said "Smile its gemma" And because i saw him lookin over i started waving at him! He waved
back so i screamed my head off! He nodded and he had a big smile on his face!
